The Radio Hobbyist
Note: The ‘Boost transmission’ button reduces the waiting time per click. You can click continuously for faster progress.
Development version
The game was originally created for the Coco Code Game Jam 2. Now we are continuing the development. We are particularly dependent on your feedback - especially when balancing the game.
Current version: 0.2.1-Dev
New in this version
- A tooltip now appears when selecting an upgrade.
- The prices have been revised. They now increase more practically.
- The upgrades have been revised. They are now more effective, but cost a little more.
- The prestige function has been adjusted, but is still being optimised and subject to change.
Everything you have to do yourself
Living in a village encircled by mountains, it is not easy to communicate with the world outside. Of course, once again the government doesn't care about anything. So you just take matters into your own hands.
Gameplay
Armed with an amateur antenna and the right app for your tablet, you can broadcast on behalf of your neighbourhood. You won't be paid too well for this, but even though it can take a while to save up, it will be worth it in the end. Send messages to the world, improve your radio mast and get rich. It's that simple.
How do you play?
All you need is your mouse, or your fingers if you are playing on your smartphone. Click on Send and receive money for every message you send. Improve your radio tower, but if the wait takes too long, you can speed up the transmission with a quick click. Progress not far enough? Well, maybe you'd better hand in everything and get a skill point in return. This will help you on your next attempt.
